To accomplish this mission, we:

  • Wisely steward the Foundation’s endowment to invest in today and prepare for tomorrow

  • Raise funds from individuals, families, foundations and businesses,

  • Award grants to non-profit organizations and community programs serving Watertown,

  • Connect and convene donors, grantees, program participants and stakeholders to make positive change for the Watertown community.

In partnership with our grantees, community leaders, donors and residents, we work to:

  • Support the most vulnerable

  • Invest in the health and well-being of the Watertown community

  • Foster community engagement and leadership

  • Advance education and youth development

  • Promote the arts and protect the environment

Practice

WCF offers everyone — individual donors, families and businesses — effective ways to give back to the community.

The Foundation raises funds from individuals and institutions to address local needs and make positive change through grant making to Watertown’s non-profit organizations.

With the merger with the Watertown Educational Foundation in 2018, the Foundation has awarded more than $3,000,000 in grants to organizations that serve the people and families who live and work in Watertown.
